A-level diploma model  in China  

In the 21st century, Abbotsholme's innovative genes took root in China! In 2018, for the first time in Shanghai, we created a new height of "diploma model" for A-level courses in China! Different from the traditional curriculum center model and 2+1 Sino-British cooperative education model, this is the first time that a 3+0 school system has been introduced to China, and Abbotsholme School (Shanghai) has officially become a school accredited by both the British National Examination Authorities and a British local school,which means students of Abbotsholme Shanghai can acquire not only the A-Level certificate after attending official exams, but also a diploma officially issued by a century-old school in the United Kingdom!

Abbotsholme school is dedicated to opening a new chapter in the golden age of Sino-British education cooperation and bringing the development of A-level courses to a new level and helping fulfill the dream of every student to study in UK!

In terms of curriculum system:

Abbotsholme Shanghai(Shanghai International High School of BANZ) provides students with more diverse and rich choices in courses. The British A-Level program provides students with a more diversified and inclusive teaching environment and gives students more free choices.

In terms of course authorization:
Abbotsholme Shanghai(Shanghai International High School of BANZ) is licensed by three British exam boards: Pearson Edexcel , Oxford AQA and CAIE and the school has been awarded as one of the "Five Top A-Level Schools in Shanghai".

In the second year of the A-Level course of Abbotsholme Shanghai (Shanghai BANZ), the school was awarded the "Best Newly-emerging A-Level School" in China by Pearson Edexcel; In the third year of the course, the school was once again named by Edexcel as a "Mainstay A-Level School" in the field of international education! 

In addition, Abbotsholme Shanghai (Shanghai BANZ) is also the largest authorized oversea school for VCE courses in the world by Australian Victorian government, and the only one in China.

In order to help more outstanding students achieve leapfrog development and meet the requirements of higher education to students, Abbotsholme Shanghai (Shanghai BANZ) has specially launched the Oxford-Cambridge Talent Program to continuously provide students with more competition and scientific research resources to develop their academic learning and researching abilities. 

In each grade, an Oxford-Cambridge Dream Team class will be set up, and subject teachers and counselor  will formulate more elaborate and professional academic ability improving plans for students of this class to help the top students achieve all-round personal development, and eventually many of them has been admitted by top universities in the world.

Being registered students of Abbotsholme Diploma Program means that the student will have a  statutory certificate and guarantee of student status at a foreign school, which can give students more competitive advantages when applying for study in UK universities.

Students who complete their registration with Abbotsholme Diploma Program can enjoy the same rights as British students who studies in Abbotsholme UK. Admission to the Australian curriculum will lead to Victorian High School and Furbanco Grammar School.
